The purpose of this ministry is to provide a safe harbor for all singles regardless of status (single, separated, divorced, widowed) to experience fun, fellowship, and spiritual enrichment. Some of our activities include bowling, cook-outs, concerts and much more!! Meets 1st & 3rd Fridays at Chocowinity U. M.C. at 7:00 pm. Near Greenville NC.

This ministry is based in Greenville, North Carolina and designed to minister to the Christian Single Adults in Eastern North Carolina. Currently, there are groups meeting in Greenville, Chocowinity, and New Bern, NC with a variety of interests and activities. The community singles gathering is held on the 4th Saturday of the month in the Greenville area. This event is sponsored by various churches in the Greenville area and held at different locations within Eastern NC. Our format is different at each gathering. We may have a dinner and guest speaker, praise and worship night, game night, scavenger hunt, etc. In addition to the monthly gathering, we also meet for lunch on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

This "Christ-Centered" non-profit ministry provides Christian singles of all ages and backgrounds as well as stages of life, the opportunity, resources and atmosphere to fellowship with other Christian singles throughout the Eastern North Carolina area once each month on the 3rd Saturday night. With over 600+ area Christian singles already on the monthly e-mail list and many more than that who regularly attend who do not have e-mail, there are presently over 100 singles attending each monthly gathering and growing.

The Singles Network Ministry is a non-profit ministry designed to provide resources, networking and leadership development to pastors, single adults and their leaders. Our aim is to provide tools to help churches and single adult ministries grow within themselves; we do not desire to compete with these groups for members, attendees, or volunteers.

Within the boundaries of the North Carolina Conference, The North Carolina Conference United Methodist Singles (NCCUMS) supports single adults through Advocacy, Resources, and Support; NCCUMS works to encourage single adult pastoral care and congregational nurture within the NC Annual Conference. The leadership of NCCUMS provides list of printed resources and speakers, useful for single adult programs on the local, sub-district, and district level. We will work with local leadership in the design and implementing of single adult programs on the local, sub-district, and district level. NCCUMS supports and leads conference-wide single adult events.
